Onsite Facilities at The Arts Factory Village
This large historic building was the focal point, even the birthplace of much of the fame and spirit of Byron. It began as an actual Piggery in 1898 then in the early 70's many local, as well as international artists, hippies and alternate lifestyles turned it into a creative Arts Factory. The spirit & creativity of the Arts Factory Village still lives on today, where you can experience peace & relaxation, music & entertainment, great food, Byron's Lounge Cinema and Buddha Gardens Day Spa.
Buddha Gardens Day Spa is adjacent to The Villas, it truly is a Balinese Sanctuary and is the only day spa in Byron Bay with tropical gardens, heated plunge pool and sauna where you are able to relax before or after your treatments. Includes The Orchid Room for couples and guests of The Villas receive 10% off treatments. Guests of The Villas are also able to enjoy in-villa massages.
Atmospheric, Dining & lounge Bar, open for drinks from 4pm and dinner from 6pm. Movie meal deals are available & there is nightly entertainment in the courtyard terrace. The Buddha Bar also hosts daily classes in the Dance Studio incl. Yoga, Salsa Dance & Martial Arts.
Just next door to Buddha Gardens Day Spa, you will find Byron's own Lounge Cinema, wander over and catch arthouse classics, documentaries or the latest releases on the full screen Dolby surround system. Relax and enjoy comfy seating including the first two rows, which have cushioned lounge seating for a extra relaxing cinema experience. Movies cost $7.90 per person or $6.90 for some sessions.
